John and the team planned the work so that it wouldn’t inconvenience the tenants.  It was scheduled so that the date the clients went away for a few days, they smashed through the work as promised.

Everything went smoothly and the bathroom was completed as expected with no dramas or issues. When they’d finished, it looked amazing! The auto light switch and mirror were a very pleasant surprise which went over and above our expectations!

Since then, we’ve had John and his team back to do the kitchen, fit a front door and fit a new laminate floor in the same property.

Our Thoughts

The client wanted us to refit their old bathroom on their BTL investment property. The previous bathroom had no extraction and had mould in most of the corners and under the sink. We tore out the old bathroom and disposed of it along with the old-style tiles.

We left the old toilet, taps and bath in place for as long as possible so that the tenants could occupy the property. We newly plaster boarded the bathroom and plastered the walls. As for the plumbing, we moved the sink over slightly, allowing for a slightly longer bath and set up a 3-way valve shower/ bath valve. We installed a new extraction fan, electrics, and motion sensor (PIR sensor) for the newly installed spotlights and extractor.

The new bathroom suite was fitted, the bathroom tiled from floor to ceiling and a new shower screen was installed. The bathroom was finished with colour matching grout, chrome tile beads, new taps and traps, motion sensor mirror, accessories, and a new bathroom door.
